About
Melissa Wintturi is a graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA where she received a Master's Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine. While at Pacific College, Melissa worked with athletes at a sports medicine clinic at the University of California, San Diego allowing her to specialize in orthopedic disorders and pain management. She also had the opportunity to study abroad at the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Chengdu, China, where she observed and treated patients in the gynecology ward as well as many patients admitted to the hospital.
Following graduation, Melissa obtained a position at Plum Blossom Acupuncture Clinic where she grew as a practitioner in a busy practice over three years. Following the closing of the clinic, she decided to open her own clinic in the same location in Cambridge to continue the same excellent care that patients had become accustomed to.
Melissa received her undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where she received a Bachelor's of Science in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. Melissa is fully licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
